①ここがJR仙石線・本塩釜駅の北側。改札口をから左側に玄関を出ると神社参道口。
タクシー乗り場は駅南側のマリンゲート口にもあります。

①Depart Hon-Shiogama Station by exiting through the Jinja-Omotesando Exit. Upon seeing a large shrine ema tablet (as shown), please turn left and walk straight. Taxis are also available for use on both this exit and the Aqua Gate Exit (towards Marine Gate Shiogama), on the opposite side of this station.  

②本塩釜駅北側の神社参道口を出たら左側の道を進みます。

②Continue to walk straight through this road until you reach a large intersection. You will see a variety of small shops and restaurants on your way.

③本塩釜駅から美術館までの道端数ヶ所に、案内サインがあります。
道筋が少し複雑なので、これをたどってみてください。

③ You will find several vertical navigation signs to help you get to the museum. Please follow them to ensure that you are on the right way. The signs carry the museum’s logo and can be found on the city’s electric poles.

④途中に「壱番館」という図書館やホールの入った再開発ビルがあります。

④You should be able to reach the Shiogama Ichibankan, a large building which houses the city’s public library and performance hall. Cross this large intersection to reach this building. You should see a set of traffic lights in front of it.

「壱番館」前の信号のある交差点を左（南方向）に曲がり、商店街を少し進みます。
（右手に八百屋さんがあります）

Upon arriving at the Shiogama Ichibankan, turn left and walk straight alongside the building’s south side. You will reach a smaller intersection with traffic lights. There should be a coffee shop (Natural Born Style) in front of you. Cross this smaller intersection.

そして「栄太楼」という老舗の菓子店前のＴ字路を右に曲がり、

Beside this coffee shop, you will see a bakery (Eitaro Confectionery). Facing it will be another intersection. Turn right on this intersection and go straight.

「浦霞」という大きな看板のある酒蔵の前をさらに西に進みます。

You should be entering the historical shopping street of Shiogama Motomachi Shotengai. You will pass by a sake brewery (Urakasumi) on your right side.

⑤酒蔵の向かいの100円パーキング「タイムズ」は美術館の提携駐車場です。
美術館観覧チケットをお持ちの方はサービス券を発行しています。
敷地内の駐車場がもし満車の時はご利用ください。

⑤Opposite this sake brewery, there is an available paid parking lot for visitors taking their vehicles to the museum (provided by Times Parking). We offer complimentary parking vouchers for visitors who purchase an admission ticket to see the museum’s shows or events. You can use this service if the parking space at the museum grounds is full.

⑥酒蔵から100ｍほど進むと、左側に「御釜神社」、右側に木造三階建ての「旧ゑびや旅館」が向かい合う、信号のある交差点があります。
主催事業中は大きなフラッグが目印になっています。

⑥From the brewery, walk straight for another 100 meters. During major museum events and exhibitions, there will be banners to help you get there. Keep walking until you arrive at another smaller intersection with traffic lights at each corner. On your left should be a shrine (Okama jinja-Shrine), and on your right side, there should be a historical ryokan building which houses a small cafe (Eibya Cafe Harema).

⑦「御釜神社」前の交差点を左に曲がります。

⑦In front of Okama-jinja Shrine, turn left at the intersection and go up the slope.

徒歩の方は、坂が急になる前に右に曲がり、階段のほうへ進むと杉村惇美術館が姿を現します。
車の方は道なりに（お寺を左手にして）そのまま登ってください。

Turn right before the slope becomes steep, then head towards the flight of stairs. The Sugimura Jun Museum of Art will come into view.
If you are driving, follow the road signs and directions and continue upward this road where you will see a temple on your way, and then then turn right. The Sugimura Jun Museum of Art will come into view.
