Clay flower pot workshop – Workshop in connection to the special exhibition “Voyage”

Date: Saturday July 21st, 2018

Hours: 14:00-16:00

Place: At the auditorium of Sugimura Jun Museum of Art (Shiogama City), 30 minutes east of Sendai.

Entrance fee:
3000 yen
2800 yen for museum members

In addition to the attending the workshop, the admission fee includes entrance to the special exhibition and permanent collections to the museum, as well as material and burning costs for creating the clay pot.

Please note:
Seats are limited, with a maximum capacity of 20 participants.
Recommended for participants ages 7 and above.
After completing the work, it will take about one and a half months for the clay pots to be ready to be picked up. They will be available at the museum after August 30th.

Instructor: Kodai Ujiie

About Koudai Ujiie
Ceramic artist. He was born in 1990 in Sendai City, Miyagi and resides in Iwanuma City, Miyagi. Since he graduated from Tohoku University of Art and Design, Graduate School of Arts and Engineering, Master’s Program in Art and Handcrafts Department in 2015, he has been creating works in Shibata Town, Miyagi.
