Swing Dancing Party
投稿日:2019.05.01
Original in Japanese
Between the 1940s and 50s, swing dance was a popular trend among Japanese youth at that time. Especially in in Shiogama, teenagers and young adults would gather together in a large hall and danced to various styles such as the jitterbug, with girls swaying their flared skirts.
With a recent revival happening in New York, swing dance is making a huge comeback with many of today’s local youth.
Come and join us as we dance together with live band music! Everyone is invited.
