《花とラッパ》（F50号　1980年／仙台市所蔵）

This exhibition, titled “Rhythm of Composition,” features a number of oil paintings and sketches by Jun Sugimura, as well as the motifs depicted in his works. Among these works, his sketches of still-life compositions show evidence of Sugimura’s rigorous pursuit of presence and absence, as there are traces of multiple sketches within the same work.
We hope that you enjoy the meticulous composition in his sketches, as well as the profound ingenuity of his oil paintings.
