《潮騒》（F10／1993年　個人蔵）

To commemorate the museum’s 10th anniversary, this exhibition features Sugimura’s small-size miniature still life paintings found from various private collections.
The subjects cover a wide range of things we encounter everyday – from flowers, fish, tools to even seasonal vegetables and fruits. These works show a more fun and playful perspective to the documenting still life that Sugimura specializes in and is long known for. Compared to his paintings featured in the Nitten painting competitions, which were crafted in two months or less, each miniature work was made through a number of years, allowing visitors to enjoy the unique charm and joy of these beautiful miniature things.

Closed on Mondays(except for January 13th), and during the New Year holidays of December 28th to January 4th)

Adults: 500 yen
University and high school students: 400 yen
Junior high school students and under: free
Discount for museum members and people with special needs.
Please note that for visitors with special needs and one accompanied person, they can receive a 50% discount for admission. Please let us know upon your visit. 
For groups of 20 or more

Junior high school students and under: free
